Clear terms for a strange store.

These terms cover purchases from Methspace and The Sophisticated Tweaker. The satire remains satire; an order is a real transaction for a physical product.

Payment

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Shipping and applicable tax are shown before the customer submits payment. Hostinger provides the storefront and Stripe processes card and supported wallet payments. Methspace does not receive or store complete card numbers.

Individual magazines, merchandise, bundles, and six- or twelve-issue print passes are charged once. Print passes do not renew automatically.

Order acceptance

An order confirmation means the payment was accepted and the order entered processing. We may cancel and refund an order if a product becomes unavailable, an address cannot be served, the price was materially incorrect, or fraud screening requires cancellation.

Production and delivery

Most merchandise is made after it is ordered. Magazine and merchandise items may arrive in separate packages from different production partners. Tracking is emailed when each trackable shipment enters the carrier network. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.

Print passes

A print pass covers the stated number of physical magazine issues. Existing issues ship first; future issues ship as they are released. Customers must send address changes before the next issue enters production. If the publication permanently ends before a pass is fulfilled, Methspace will refund the unfulfilled portion based on the per-issue value of the pass.

Problems, cancellations, and refunds

Cancellation is usually possible only before production begins. Damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or qualifying lost orders are eligible for a replacement or refund under the Shipping, Returns & Order Help policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
